Somewhat of a world traveler by age two. Simon had already lived on two continents before settling in his mother’s native country of New Zealand where he grew up and remained until the travel bug hit him again later in life. He pursued a degree in Media studies and Marketing at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand after which he moved to the United States to teach music.
Spending his winters in London, England and his Summers in Pennsylvania and travelling to as many countries as possible in between from 2007-2010 he ended up settling in Halifax Nova Scotia where Simon he held positions in Advertising, Business Development and Hospitality Management. He moved to Ontario to be with his now wife, a native of Cornwall in early 2016 where he now resides permanently with her and their baby daughter.
Simon has always been passionate about experiencing and learning new cultures all over the world. Which makes him perfect for the role of project manager for our Cross-Border Partnership Program. In his down time, you will likely find him on a golf course or actively involving himself in events in his new community.
